Book Description:

Maya Rousseau’s fantasy vacation in Avignon France heats up when an eccentric enchantress tricks her into drinking mojo-laced absinthe.

An unexpected encounter with the green fairy causes Maya’s reality to have a serious melt down. She travels back in time and wakes up naked in the bed of her favorite bad boy Bohemian artist, the tall, dark and mysterious André Bosco. There’s nothing wrong with that except it’s 1903.

For André it’s love at first sight. He begs Maya to become his cherished model, muse and lover. The chemistry and shared passion between them is overwhelming. André’s a generous-hearted dream man but there’s a catch. Every hour they spend together bonds them tighter and time is running out. The same powers that flung Maya back to 1903 are preparing to snatch her back.

With a hundred and ten years separating these soul-bound lovers it’s uncertain if they can find a happy ending without the help of a little magic and La Fée Verte.

Note: Story contains super hot sex with an unattainable man, enchanted hallucinatory beverages, mischievous time-twisters and green fairies.

I started out thinking I wouldn’t like this, time travel isn’t my thing.  But I have to say this was sweet love story. I can only imagine how both Maya and Andre felt, Maya back in time where she knows the artist but cant say too much. Andre sees a beautiful woman that for all intent is crazy, the way she talks and the things she knows.

A time in our world where Art was the in thing, a place like France so full of life rich in culture and a bit of snobbiness. After drinking a potion Maya lands in the early 19th century basically in the arms of the very artist she idolizes. She get to see first hand her favorite artist at work, at play and in bed. Maya is a artist herself she of course gets her inspiration from Andre.

If you could time travel would you? and would you if you couldn’t come back? It would be hard to be in the past seeing things evolve, hearing people talk of things to happen.

Andre reminds me of a bad child sometimes. So focused in his creativity that other things just fall to the wayside, but with Maya his new model she is as consuming as his paintings. His father thinks Andre needs to leave his art and silly childish books and act as a adult and his son. A story that is well know by most of us, where a parent wants their child to be other than what they are.

What is it about making love outside?? In a semi private place that heats the blood and turns things once soft hard, and things once dry wet? (giggles).

Andre never paints models, just this once he takes a chance, Maya has him doubting her at first. But he captures her image on the canvas, he paints has he never has before. Maya knows he will be a artist to be reckoned with, and she feels his passion. Though she knows her time is running short. She will have to go back to her own time, to give up the love she has never felt before.

A love story that transpired through a hundred years, we all know the time travel warning about changing events. Will the lovers be able to make a life? Will potions of the gypsies keep Andre and Maya together. Maya went back to time to meet her inspiration in the art world, she winds up being the inspiration herself. Walk back in time and enjoy a sweet love story that will have you saying aw... and maybe even a sniffle of two.

About the Author:

I’m an artist, an author, mother and wife. I write for Ellora’s Cave, Loose Id Publishing and a couple new publishers to be announced soon. I try to bring a touch of the mystical and a big sense of adventure to everything I write because I believe there’s a bold, kick-ass heroine inside all of us who wants to take a wild ride with a strong worthy hero.

  1. Wow! Thank you Share My Destiny for hosting me, and thank you Daria for a beautifully written review!

  2. I think I was visited by the same fairy the last time I drank Absinthe. Seriously though, I'm always curious about how authors handle the time travel issue. It could wind up with a broken hearted protagonist.

    1. La Fee Verte was gentle with me and my main characters. I'm a little obsessed with time-travel, it's one of my favorite writing devices.

  3. @ Katalina Leon thank you for responding to the Review its awesome alot of authors dont. and you are very welcome!!

    1. This was a dream review. A reader/reviewer who can express themselves so well helps me to be a better author.
